Champion Award in Bangladesh ICT & Innovation Awards 2025
It's a pleasure to announce that a team from MIST CSE 20 consisting Lec Alisha, Lec Rashid, Lec Adib, Hafsah and Alam received the Merit Award Industrial Category (HC-I) with their Capstone project “Anchor Eye”- An IoT and AI Based pisciculture monitoring and fish growth prediction robot and Fatima Ashraf, a student from CSE 23 batch, leading a cross-university team named Bored Tunnelers, won the Champion Award in the same category at the prestigious Bangladesh ICT & Innovation Awards 2025, held on 18 October at the IUB Auditorium.
Fatima’s team will now represent Bangladesh at the APICTA Awards 2025 in Taiwan, often called the "ICT Oscars of Asia-Pacific". Competing among 250+ teams, with finalists from top institutions like BUET, DU, KUET, and BRACU. These achievements highlight the excellence and innovation emerging from MIST CSE.
